cold

CRW_8556.jpg

So it's been very cold here in Wisconsin the past few days. For example, right now the temperature is -9 degrees Fahrenheit (that's -22 Celcius)

So yesterday I spotted this tree in the morning that had been covered in the mist flowing off the dam on the Fox River. It's been so cold that the mist sticks to the tree and freezes immediately. So I decided to wait until it warmed up later in the day and go back and take some shots. Around 3:00 it looked like it wasn't going to get any warmer, so I bundled up and went out in the 4 degree weather. Damn, it was cold!
