June 01, 2005west coast on the east coast![]() Some San Fransisco style architecture in Portland, ME. According to Houser the story goes that years ago a guy bought one of the units and the lot across the street was vacant. He didn't want another building obstructing his view, so he bought the property (the grass that Houser is standing on) and made it into a public park. Now that's pretty cool. Portland, ME

Wow Brad, these are great. Actually to me (being a west coaster and all) they look more like a movie set. Either way though, they're beautiful (and I love that they're all wet too) -- and agreed, that he bought the adjacent property so the residents would have a view is pretty cool indeed. (Love how in the shot with H it seems as though they all drive similar cars) :)

The colors and architecture together make for a terrific little street. Good stuff!
