bag factory

IMG_045900172.jpg

A two or three person, one room totebag factory in Portland, ME. From what I could tell, they take old ship sails, cut them apart, add rope and then re-sew the pieces into NPR-style tote bags.

A few seconds later I moved to those windows on the left to get a different angle on the bobbins and Houser shot me. I like this angle more because of the light streaming in from those windows, the bags, and the pile of sails on the right.

I love seeing shots like Houser's and then seeing what the photographer actually took -- the light in this is beautiful. . I love the organized chaos. =)
