This shot is directly from the camera, the only photoshop work done to it was to open the raw file and save it 650px wide. Which is something, people knock digital all the time and for the most part they're either uninformed or stubborn. Sure, Photoshop gets a bad rap, but that's because there's too many people making crap and it gives the tool a bad name.

Some effects {like this} have become commonplace and easy to ignore. We think "oh that's just a Photoshop filter" because it's pretty darn easy to do this in Photoshop. But doing it in-camera is a little trickier, and a lot more fun.
