A lot of improvments around here lately. Changes to the archives, about, links, and now a buy a print page. For quite some time I was neglecting my archives section. For the most part, I don't like forcing myself to post every day. In the past 2 years, I've only had one month where I didn't miss a day. So, now they're grouped by category.

The first time I printed business cards for my photography I had the printer put the text "bradknapp.com: pictures of nouns" on them. So I brought that theme back to life in the organization of past shots, now it's people, places, and things. I'm surprised to see some unconscious trends start to emerge with a different system. For example; my portrait work has tended to be more monochromatic and the nature stuff seems to be more saturated with color. I'll have to work on switching that up a bit. The comments will be back in a few days when I get a chance to fix that bug.

Hope you like the changes.

You're right, those trends are very distinct in your archives. I don't remember what your archives looked like, but I'll assume you were previously showing them in a calendar view that was hurt by missing days, which is what my archives look like. It's tough to do daily photos, but I think it's the best way to keep people coming back, if they know that they'll get something new each day. As for the archives, you could offer them both ways :)
