I like this picture a great deal. I think, though, that the dark edges/shadows are a bit too harsh for a high key image.

Alicia-

high key is accomplished using the right mix of lighting and processing, but mostly lighting. Basically you set up the shot so that you are intentionally getting an image that has high contrast.

Just make sure that you're shooting in an environment with out too much detail in the large areas so that when you blow them out they're nice and flat. This one sucks, but it's all just a learnign experience.
